anne frank huis

April 3rd, 2013 by nina · No Comments · amsterdam, netherlands, sightseeing

the anne frank huis is a must if you visit amsterdam eventhough you have no connection to the german-jewish history. the diary of anne frank is a very important remnant of the holocaust. the anne frank huis was the place where anne and her family hid from the nazis. unfortunately they have been betrayed and deported to auschwitz. to see the house where they hid and walk on the same floors is really moving but something one must do. to avoid long queueing you can get the tickets online. they are about 9 euro and can be bought on the homepage.
